Why “Forty”? Forty days prayer and fasting were very significant in the lives of many Bible characters. For example, Moses, Elijah and Jesus all prayed and fasted for forty days and forty nights with amazing results. We should do likewise. This “Forty Days Prayer and Fasting Program” is designed to help us pray effectively as we heed the counsel of Jesus in Luke 18:1, Men ought always to pray and not to faint. We pray that at the end of this Program, we will be blessed, we will be strong and we will do exploits!
